Quatenary International Company Limited successfully completed a detailed Geophysical /Well head Survey Search in OML 70 in the Niger delta area of Bonny offshore, Nigeria. The water depth within the area is approximately between 45m to 51m.
The survey was run using HYPACK navigation system to captured data, which were interfaced through COM ports on the computer which has the capability of collecting data from the GPS, Echo Sounder, Side Scan sonar and Magnetometer, together it comes out with X,Y,Z results.
The scope of work to be rendered shall include, but not limited to the following:
The scope consist of all work activities required for successful search for the well head. This includes the mobilization of ALL resources (equipment, materials, and personnel) for the WORK. Our understanding of the scope of work includes but not limited to the following:
- Boxed the area into segments and search for the well head by sweeping the seabed using side scan sonar
- Run magnetometer to detect any ferrous material and to confirm the well head.
- Processing of data.
- Obtain XYZ co-ordination of the the well head
- Production of survey report.
